CSD HOME STAGING-K.Hubert: What realtors are saying about Home Staging!

What realtors are saying about Home Staging!

Real estate agents are saying a lot about home staging these days as it grows more and more popular as a necessary means of getting a property SOLD in a saturated market or any market for that matter.

What they are saying?

"Would you choose to spend $100.00 on gas when clearly it will take $200.00 to get where you need to go? Then why wouldn't you do what is necessary to get your property SOLD?"

"If you can help a homebuyer visualize a property, I think you are really helping him/her."

"Folks who resist will have to take longer to sell especially in a saturated market."

"one thing for me is non-negotiable, is a staging appointment, we love our stager."

"selling the value of staging presents it's own challenges, however, I feel it is our duty as trusted advisors."

"It makes a huge difference in how the house shows but also how it looks in on-line photos."

I love it when realtors and clients walk into a staged or redesigned room and say "WOW"!!!  Makes every bit of hard work worth while.  But my favorite is when they say -- IT'S SOLD!

Hi Karen - Thank you for the mention and for spreading the word about the importance of home staging.  You go girl! :)

Thank you for bringing this info to the forefront again......I honestly believe a well staged home, and the right price, are two of the essentials to getting that SOLD sign in the windw :)  I cannot say enough about Janice and the work she does.  It's nice to have different people in different fields to help each other.

I'm noticing more and more that the most successful realtors, the ones who make it their business to stay on-trend, use a home stager for every listing.  It's very encouraging.  There will come a day when you would no more put your house on the market without a staging consultation than you would forego a home inspection.

Thanks for all the encouraging words Margaret, Janice, Kathy and Anne.  Hopefully that day will come sooner rather than later.

One of my clients told me his listings move faster when I have done a consult. He feels we make a great team. Another client considers me her 'partner'. These comments are always good to hear especially when the market softens.

I am fairly new to active rain. I notice that some comments include a picture of the person commenting. Do you insert it every time or is there some setting I can make to get it automatically?

I am not sure Janice.  All of a sudden my picture was included.
